There is no definitive number for this because, as with all Bluetooth devices, there are many factors that affect the signal range. However, the Bluetooth range of the Cloud Gateway has been tested under optimal conditions, and the result has been more than 50 meters. Materials that will severely lower the communication distance are:
- Metals
- Concrete
- Plasters
- Ceramic tiles
- Glass
- Other 2.4Ghz frequencies
