Some Casambi enabled devices have unique firmware, that is different from the default Casambi firmware version shown in the Casambi App. i.e. their firmware versions differ from other Casambi devices. Such devices are:
- Salvador Series
- CBU-DCS with DALI Gateway profile
- Casambi Cloud Gateway
Salvador Series
If Salvador firmware updates are required, each Salvador must be updated individually using the Casambi app. This is because Salvador’s cannot transfer any Casambi firmware updates through the mesh.
CBU-DCS with DALI Gateway profile
If firmware updates are required, each CBU-DCS with DALI Gateway profile must be updated individually using the Casambi app. This is because they cannot transfer any Casambi firmware updates through the mesh.
Cloud Gateway
The Cloud Gateway is not part of the mesh network, but is an external device, so the firmware update of other network nodes does not affect it. The Cloud Gateway cannot be updated in the application, but is updated automatically when a new version is available.
